Agent Smith: [He and Cypher are eating at a fancy restaurant] Do we have a deal, Mr. Reagan?
Cypher: [Cuts a piece of steak and holds it in front of him] I know this steak doesn't exist. I know that when I put it in my mouth, the Matrix is telling my brain that it is juicy and delicious. After 9 years, you know what I have learned? [Eats the piece of steak and sighs contently] Ignorance is bliss.
Agent Smith: Then we have a deal?
Cypher: I don't wanna remember nothing. Nothing, you understand? And I want to be rich. You know, someone important … like an actor.
Agent Smith: Whatever you want, Mr. Reagan.
*The heat is on, on the street
Inside your head, on every beat
And the beat's so loud, deep inside
The pressure's high, just to stay alive
'Cause the heat is on
Oh-wo-ho, oh-wo-ho
Caught up in the action I've been looking out for you
Oh-wo-ho, oh-wo-ho
(Tell me can you feel it)
(Tell me can you feel it)
(Tell me can you feel it)
The heat is on, the heat is on, the heat is on
the heat is on Oh it's on the street, the heat is – on.
Oh-wo-ho, oh-wo-ho
Caught up in the action I've been looking out for you
Oh-wo-ho, oh-wo-ho
(Tell me can you feel it)
(Tell me can you feel it)
(Tell me can you feel it)
The heat is on, the heat is on, the heat is on
Oh it's on the street, the heat is – on.
The shadows are on the darker side
Behind those doors, it's a wilder ride
You can make a break, you can win or lose
That's a chance you take, when the heat's on you
When the heat is on
Oh-wo-ho, oh-wo-ho
Caught up in the action I've been looking out for you
Oh-wo-ho, oh-wo-ho
(Tell me can you feel it)
(Tell me can you feel it)
(Tell me can you feel it)
The heat is on, the heat is on, the heat is on
It's on the street
The heat is on, the heat is on, the heat is on
Yeah it's on the street
The heat is on
Feet are feeling light
Head on out to see the sights
Ain't life a many splendored thing?
Ducking up and down
All these crazy sights and sounds
Bounce around like puppets on a string
Never gonna find anything to change my mind
Famous last lines of a fool
Just when you think
You're a chain with just one link
Something comes to tip you off your stool
Hello hello
Hello hello
My my my, what have we here?
What a surprise!
What a surprise!
Hello, Hello
Hello, Hello
I'm not alone, it's good to know
Someone's out there to say hello
Hello!
Do a dizzy dance
Twirl around and take a chance
Nothing's easy
Nothing comes for free
Sniffing on a flower
Running through an autumn shower
Bumping into someone else like me
Hello hello
Hello hello
My my my, what have we here?
What a surprise
What a surprise!
Hello, Hello
Hello, Hello
I'm not alone it's good to know
Someone's out there to say hello
Hello!
And I could fly on the back of a bird
I could shake all the leaves from a tree
If there's a quest I'm a Knight
Where's there's wrong I'll do right
Two is better than the one I used to be
Hello hello
My my my, what have we here?
What a surprise
What a surprise!
Hello, Hello
Hello, Hello
I'm not alone it's good to know
Someone's out there to say hello
Hello!
White man came across the sea,
He brought us pain and misery
He killed our tribes, he killed our creed,
He took our game for his own need
We fought him hard, we fought him well,
Out on the plains we gave him hell
But many came, too much to Cree,
Oh will we ever be set free?
Riding through dustclouds and barren wastes,
Galloping hard on the plains
Chasing the redskins back to their holes,
Fighting them at their own game
Murder for freedom, a stab in the back,
Women and children and cowards attack
Run to the hills, run for your lives.
Run to the hills, run for your lives.
Soldier blue in the barren wastes,
Hunting and killing for game
Raping the women and wasting the men,
The only good Indians are tame
Selling them whiskey and taking their gold,
Enslaving the young and destroying the old
Run to the hills, run for your lives.
Run to the hills, run for your lives.
Vincent Malloy is seven years old
He’s always polite and does what he’s told
For a boy his age, he’s considerate and nice
But he wants to be just like Vincent Price
He doesn’t mind living with his sister, dog and cats
Though he’d rather share a home with spiders and bats
There he could reflect on the horrors he’s invented
And wander dark hallways, alone and tormented
Vincent is nice when his aunt comes to see him
But imagines dipping her in wax for his wax museum
He likes to experiment on his dog Abercrombie
In the hopes of creating a horrible zombie
So he and his horrible zombie dog
Could go searching for victims in the London fog
His thoughts, though, aren’t only of ghoulish crimes
He likes to paint and read to pass some of the times
While other kids read books like Go, Jane, Go!
Vincent’s favourite author is Edgar Allen Poe
One night, while reading a gruesome tale
He read a passage that made him turn pale
Such horrible news he could not survive
For his beautiful wife had been buried alive!
He dug out her grave to make sure she was dead
Unaware that her grave was his mother’s flower bed
His mother sent Vincent off to his room
He knew he’d been banished to the tower of doom
Where he was sentenced to spend the rest of his life
Alone with the portrait of his beautiful wife
While alone and insane encased in his tomb
Vincent’s mother burst suddenly into the room
She said: “If you want to, you can go out and play
It’s sunny outside, and a beautiful day”
Vincent tried to talk, but he just couldn’t speak
The years of isolation had made him quite weak
So he took out some paper and scrawled with a pen:
“I am possessed by this house, and can never leave it again”
His mother said: “You’re not possessed, and you’re not almost dead
These games that you play are all in your head
You’re not Vincent Price, you’re Vincent Malloy
You’re not tormented or insane, you’re just a young boy
You’re seven years old and you are my son
I want you to get outside and have some real fun.
Her anger now spent, she walked out through the hall
And while Vincent backed slowly against the wall
The room started to swell, to shiver and creak
His horrid insanity had reached its peak
He saw Abercrombie, his zombie slave
And heard his wife call from beyond the grave
She spoke from her coffin and made ghoulish demands
While, through cracking walls, reached skeleton hands
Every horror in his life that had crept through his dreams
Swept his mad laughter to terrified screams!
To escape the madness, he reached for the door
But fell limp and lifeless down on the floor
His voice was soft and very slow
As he quoted The Raven from Edgar Allan Poe:
“And my soul from out that shadow
that lies floating on the floor
shall be lifted?
Nevermore…”
The power of love is a curious thing
Make a one man weep, make another man sing
Change a heart to a little white dove
More than a feeling, that's the power of love
Tougher than diamonds, whips like cream
Stronger and harder than a bad girl's dream
Make a bad one good, Mmmm make a wrong right
Power of love will keep you home at night.
Don’t need money, don’t take fame
Don’t need no credit card to ride this train
It’s strong and it’s sudden and it’s cruel sometimes
But it might just save your life
That’s the power of love,
That’s the power of love
First time you feed it might make you sad
Next time you feed it might make you mad
But you’ll be glad baby when you’ve found
That’s the power that makes the world go round
They say that all in love is fair
Yeah but you don’t care
But you know what to do
When it gets hold of you
And with a little help from above
You feel the power of love
Don’t need money, don’t need fame
Don’t need no credit card to ride this train
Tougher than diamonds and stronger than steel
You won’t feel it until you feel
You feel the power, feel the power of love
That’s the power, that’s the power of love
You feel the power of love…
My name is Don Octavio de Florez, I am the world's greatest psychiatrist. I have cured over a thousand patients, and their faces linger in my memory like summer days. But none more so than Don Juan De Marco. And so it was not so insane that we all found ourselves on an aeroplane flying to the island of Eros. It was like a garden before the fall. Everything seemed possible.
And how does our fable end? His Dona Ana, his centre-fold... was she waiting all eternity on the beach for him to return, as they had promised each other? Why not? Sadly, I must report, that the last patient I ever treated... the great lover, Don Juan De Marco, suffered from a romanticism which was completely incurable. And even worse, highly contagious...
To really love a woman, to understand her
You've got to know her deep inside
Hear every thought, see every dream
And give her wings when she wants to fly
Then when you find yourself lying
Helpless in her arms
You know you really love a woman
CHORUS:
When you love a woman
You tell her that she's really wanted
When you love a woman
You tell her that she's the one
'Cause she needs somebody to tell her
That it's gonna last forever
So tell me, have you ever really
Really, really ever loved a woman?
To really love a woman, let her hold you
'Til you know how she needs to be touched
You've got to breathe her, really taste her
'Til you can feel her in your blood
And when you can see your unborn children in her eyes
You know you really love a woman.
CHORUS:
When you love a woman
You tell her that she's really wanted
When you love a woman
You tell her that she's the one
'Cause she needs somebody
To tell her that you'll always be together
So tell me have you ever really
Really, really ever loved a woman?
You've got to give her some faith
Hold her tight, a little tenderness
You've got to treat her right
She will be there for you, taking good care of you
You really gotta love your woman, yeah.
And when you find yourself lying helpless in her arms
You know you really love a woman.
CHORUS:
When you love a woman,
You tell her that she's really wanted.
When you love a woman,
You tell her that she's the one.
She needs somebody
To tell her that it's gonna last forever.
So tell me, have you ever really
Really, really ever loved a woman? yeah
Just tell me, have you ever really
Really, really ever loved a woman?
Oh! Just tell me, have you ever really
Really, really ever loved a woman?
